(This is what James does when we are on the computer, isn't it cute? We have to pull another office chair up so he can join us but eventually he winds up on our laps. Too sweet. These pictures are from last weekend when I was writing the previous blog post.)
So I guess the incessant downpour we had yesterday (on picture day at work) and the fact I can see my breath in the morning means it's Fall... finally! Our apartment gets so hot in the Summer and takes forever to cool down so we've been anxiously waiting for the seasons to change. Fall means I can use cozy candles, wear scarves again and not feel ashamed I'm ordering a 190 degree coffee even though the sun is shining. Andrew's birthday is coming up next month (25th!) and so is Haunted Palouse (this great Halloween themed event that the small town of Palouse puts on - there are haunted houses, a high-speed haunted hayride, and the townspeople all dress up in costume and walk around trying to scare us while waiting in line. It's cold, scary and perfect), Guys and Dolls performs November 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 10th, and on November 24th Andrew and I are headed to Yakima to see Brian Reagan: our favorite comedian! Plus the regular work, school, and scheduled trips to Columbus. We are busy busy busy!
Today I think I'm going to make a pumpkin cake and possibly a new dinner to try. The house is clean, laundry's in the dryer, work out's next and later I'll fart around doing who knows what? Pinterest (probably) and tackling our crazy hall closet (possibly). Tonight I'm dancing with a woman at rehearsal - so it'll be a productive Wednesday to say the least, ha!
I'm just happy my Fall stuff can be out again and flameless candles are the way to go if you've got naughty cats!
James says, "Goodbye, everybody!"
