This is not the announcement I was hoping to make.
As some of you know Andrew and I were expecting a baby in May but yesterday my doctor confirmed a miscarriage.
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this loss.
I feel silly for being attached to something I never had.
I feel sad.
I feel hope for the future.
I know God is in control - Another reminder that I am not.
I'm also not in control of my emotions (though I haven't been for some time so I should be used to it).
I suppose every day will get better, I already feel stronger than yesterday.
I know our child was greeted with open arms in Heaven and is in the glory of the Lord.
Andrew is going through his own struggles about the baby but I know we'll heal in time.
We want to thank you for your prayers and support.

Last Monday
Well this morning is the last Monday I'll be headed to ClearView. I put in my resignation last week.
I have mixed feelings about everything, my new job (more details coming soon), leaving my CV family of three years, excitement about new opportunities and worry about learning the ropes.
I'm sure everything will be fine but right now I'm just dealing with the jitters.
It sure has been wonderful putting on scrubs every morning, next week I'll have to remember how to dress myself!
Have a great day!

Updated!
Welcome to the new look!
After a little internetting I finally settled on a design and I love it.
Plus I only needed a little help from Andrew.
Sometimes he really comes in handy (okay a lot of times!)
We are trying to enjoy this cooler Wednesday evening but he's fighting a cold/cough and I'm dealing with the grumps so we'll see if we can turn this night around!
Tonight before dinner I dragged him to the mall to look for a pair of leather boots. This spring I purchased several pairs of capris and they would transition well into fall/winter if only I had some leather boots. I really shouldn't invest in a bunch of new pants, so versatile boots it is!
You know, the kind you pair with denim shirt, scarf and a pumpkin spice latte?
*I am definitely from Seattle.
Anyway, fall is finally coming to Pullman and I can't wait. The endless summers around here are beautiful but I'm sick of keeping my blinds drawn and my candles put away. It's time for tea, scarves and all my pumpkin decor. Last year I left my pumpkins out until like April or May so maybe I'll reign it in this go around and be reasonable when switching out the seasons.
Oh and Andrew's birthday is in less than a month and I have no ideas on what to do for him. Again.
This always seems to happen... so I'll be working on that for the next few weeks!
I'm glad to be back!
ps: stay tuned later this week
pps: I almost want to sign off "you know you love me, xoxo," but that's only because I watched Gossip Girl all summer and haven't come up with my own cheesy catchphrase.
...maybe I'll work on that too.
